Spearhead 1944 places you in the boots of the soldiers fighting to break out from a tenuous foothold in the hellish maze of the bocage to liberate occupied Normandy.

Play your way, with a wide array of iconic weapons and vehicles.
Join the fight for liberation, or hold your ground across two immersive terrains, each representing real-world landscapes based on inland Normandy and Mortain. Command a tank, light up your flamethrower, dial in your sniper scope, or grab your medical supplies. Dive into a sprawling new co-op campaign for up to 24 players inspired by Operation Cobra. Or take the fight to the enemy across both terrains with multiplayer game modes, and several engaging single-player and co-op scenarios. Experience commanding an M8 LAC, covert operations as the French Resistance or explore what the CDLC has to offer in the US and German faction showcases.

Offering unparalleled player freedom and new layers of strategic and tactical gameplay, Spearhead 1944 builds on the successful Arma 3 military sandbox formula to render World War II combat for players to experience solo, with friends in a group, or together with the global Arma community.

KEY FEATURES

Normandy - 150 km2 terrain

This new unique terrain is a detailed representation of the actual terrain in Normandy at 1:2 scale where Operation Cobra took place. Normandy features numerous faithfully recreated real world locations that were involved in the Overlord campaign, covering from St Lo down to Roncey and Lengronne.

Complete with labyrinthine hedgerows and branching rivers, quiet farmsteads, dug in positions, ancient orchards and countryside towns lying in ruins, featuring new custom created era specific and highly detailed buildings, rivers, environmental foliage and fortifications bringing the World War II setting to life.

Normandy promises intense close-quarter firefights and thrilling combined-arms gameplay that will keep you coming back for more.

Mortain - 64km2 Terrain

This new terrain features a highly detailed representation of the Mortain area, recreated at a 1:1 scale. The Mortain terrain includes many iconic landmarks that saw fighting during Operation Lüttich. These landmarks include the town of Mortain itself, the Mortain Church, Hill 317, 314, and 285, the Abbaye Blanche, Cambremont mine, Romagny, and St. Barthélemy

The terrain is filled with well-hidden fighting positions, dugouts, well-fortified checkpoints, and hilltops featuring intricate defensive networks.
Scenic rivers, orchards, dangerous sunken roads, isolated farmsteads, detailed ditches, and idyllic villages can be found all across the terrain, accompanied by highly detailed custom period and area-specific buildings, created to bring an immersive recreation of the whole area and even specific landmarks.

In comparison to Normandy, this terrain brings longer sightlines, bigger fields, sparser hedgerows, and greater changes in elevation. You’ll be fighting on a battlefield perfect for intense combined-arms warfare.
